Dr. Fengchen Wang received his B.S. and M.S. degrees (with honors) in automotive engineering from China Agricultural University, Beijing, China, in 2014 and 2016, respectively. He received a Ph.D. degree in systems engineering from Arizona State University (ASU), Mesa, AZ, USA, in 2020. He is currently pursuing his second M.S. degree in computer science at Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, GA, USA.

Since Jun. 2020, Dr. Wang has joined The MathWorks, Inc. as a senior software engineer (vehicular simulation). From Aug. 2016 until May 2020, he was a graduate research associate with the Dynamic Systems and Control Laboratory, at Arizona State University. His research interests include control theory and application, vehicle dynamics and control, connected and automated vehicle technology, and complex network system modeling, analysis, control, and optimization.

Dr. Wang is the author or co-author of more than 25 peer-reviewed publications. He also received Completion Fellowship, University Graduate Fellowship, National Scholarship, and Beijing Outstanding Graduate.
